We suggest you download them from the Behringer website if you haven’t done so already to try them and see for yourself. Hands down, this piece is one of my new favorite recording devices in my inventory. Under Routing, select and set the input for Behringer USB, and the output for whatever you want, such as your audio card.
There is no way the USB guitar link can be picking up the biit signal but, it could also be noise.

This item gehringer simple a piece of hardware that adds a line-in port that is commonly found on many desktop motherboards, but is lacking on many laptops. A wonderful tool I run a linux system and had some challenges getting my guitar to play cleanly into some of the software I was using to record with.
Also, be sure to set ASIO controls so that the sound is not directed to the sound card, only to the GL headset output. This option requires no OS understanding. Make sure you have a 64 bit driver if you have a 64 bit system, which is provided by ASIO. I am on windows 7 x64 and pretty tech savvy, so the 64 bit driver installation wasn’t hard but if you aren’t tech savvy, get someone to help you install the 64 bit driver if you’re on windows 7.
Some people may find it tricky to get the software set up correctly with whatever amp simulator you are using, but as far as the physical device goes: If you do, you have a million options! Try contacting them to see if bir are going to issue one. If there is any chance that the driver can show back up, I’m certain all UM2 users would appreciate it. I didn’t even use the one that came bir the device, I directly downloaded the latest ASIO driver and had zero problems when connecting the usb device.

Didn’t bother with the included software as it appears to be junk. At the site one finds the importat ASIO drivers I got the 64 bit onesand asio4all, as well as audacity the last two can be found in many other places.
I just did something similar myself, re-installing my windows 7 from scratch, and I had to fiddle a lot with the asio4all controls. Their reply – We have none and have no plans at the moment to provide one.
